Tea saponin is extracted from camellia seeds. It has two characteristics, one is surface activity, the other is biologic activity. As the surface activity, it is an excellent nonionic surfactant which is proved to have function of emulsification, dispersing, fronthing and moistring.
1. Antibacterial and antiviral
Tea saponin has inhibitory effects on a variety of fungi and Escherichia coli that cause skin diseases. It has inhibitory effects on influenza A and B viruses, herpes viruses, measles viruses, and HIV viruses.
2. Hemolytic
It compounds have a destructive effect on red blood cells of animal cells. Tea saponin in tea leaves, like the saponin compounds of soybeans and ginseng, has very weak hemolytic activity; it is highly toxic to cold-blooded animals, especially fish.
3. Inhibit alcohol absorption
It has the activity of inhibiting alcohol absorption, can inhibit the absorption of alcohol, promote the metabolism of alcohol in the body, and has a protective effect on the liver.
4. Anti-inflammation and anti-allergy
Tea saponin has obvious anti-leakage and anti-inflammatory characteristics. In the early stages of inflammation, it can normalize capillary permeability and is effective in treating bronchospasm and edema caused by allergies. Its effect is comparable to that of many anti-inflammatory drugs.
5. Lose weight
It blocks pancreatic lipase activity. It blocks the activity of pancreatic lipase and reduces the intestinal absorption of fat in food, thereby reducing weight.
6. Shampoo and conditioner
Tea contains 10% tea saponin, which has a very good cleaning effect. Shampoos based on it have anti-dandruff and anti-itch functions, are non-irritating to the skin, and keep hair fresh and elegant.

A: For most of the products we already have in stock, the MOQ is 1kg. If the product is a new specification and need to be produced from raw material, the MOQ depends.
