What is Senna Leaf Extract?
Senna leaf Senna alexandrina is an ayurvedic herb more popularly known as senna. Senna is among the most well-known and frequently used laxative ingredients in teas. Senna tea is made from the dried leaves and pods of the Senna alexandrina shrub.The senna plant contains compounds called glycosides, known as Sennosides A & B that stimulate the digestive system. It is an FDA approved nonprescription laxative. Due to its laxative property it is used to clear bowel before diagnostic tests such as colonoscopy.

What is the function of Senna Leaf Extract?
1.It has the effect of clearing away heat, delaying defecation and diuresis. It has certain antibacterial function, and can be used clinically for acute pancreatitis, bacterial dysentery, epidemic hemorrhagic fever, cholecystitis, postpartum milk reflux and so on.
