What is Sage Extract?
Salvia officinalis has numerous common names. Some of the best-known are sage, common sage, garden sage, golden sage, kitchen sage, true sage, culinary sage, Dalmatian sage, and broadleaf sage. Cultivated forms include purple sage and red sage. The specific epithet officinalis refers to plants with a well-established medicinal or culinary value.

What is the function of Sage Extract?
Sage is an herb. There are many species of sage. The two most common are common sage (Salvia officinalis) and Spanish sage (Salvia lavandulaefolia). Sage might help with chemical imbalances in the brain that cause problems with memory and thinking skills. 

1.Improved Memory:Taking sage by mouth seems to improve memory and thinking skills in healthy adults.
2.Lower Cholesterol:High levels of cholesterol or other fats (lipids) in the blood (hyperlipidemia). Taking common sage three times daily for 2 or 3 months reduces low-density lipoprotein (LDL or "bad") cholesterol and triglyceride levels. It also increases high-density lipoprotein (HDL or "good") cholesterol, in people with high cholesterol.
3.Symptoms of menopause. Taking common sage extract by mouth for 4 weeks improves some symptoms of menopause, especially hot flashes, night sweats, and sleep problems.
4.Cancer Prevention Scientists have shown that components of S. officinalis or S. lavandulaefolia can  inhibit the growth of cancer cells in test tubes. These components include carnosol, rosmarinic acid, and ursolic acid.
5.Anti-Inflammatory Effects Sage may be beneficial in providing relief for inflammatory conditions such as sore throat and sunburn.
6.Good for hair Sage extract can strongly strengthens hair and gives it a healthy glow. it is commonly used as an ingredient in products to treat baldness and dandruff. .
